This website is operated by Atelier Rita Valadão, an architecture and interior design studio based in Lisbon, Portugal. Any reference to “we”, “us” or “the Studio” in this notice refers to Atelier Rita Valadão.

The Studio's fiscal identification number (NIF / NIPC) and full commercial registration details are available on request by email.

This notice explains how we process personal data collected through this website and through direct communication with the Studio, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Portuguese Law No. 58/2019.

We only collect data that you actively provide when contacting us — typically your name, email address, and any project details you choose to share in your message.

We do not operate account registration, e-commerce, newsletters or behavioural advertising on this website.

This website does not set third-party tracking cookies and does not use behavioural analytics or advertising trackers. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is displayed.

Only strictly necessary technical storage may be used to serve the website and its fonts. Embedded links to Instagram and Threads open on those platforms, which apply their own privacy policies once you visit them.

• Answering enquiries — legitimate interest and, where applicable, pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
• Contractual and accounting obligations — compliance with Portuguese tax and commercial law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Enquiry emails are retained for the time necessary to respond and follow up, and then archived or deleted. Data related to executed contracts is retained for the periods required by Portuguese tax and commercial law (as a rule, ten years).

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Requests can be sent to studio@ritavaladao.pt.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados — CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.
